Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special – Terms and Conditions

The Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special is referred to in these Terms and Conditions as the “Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special”.

The Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special is offered by Kindred Credit Union Limited (“Kindred”).

By participating in the Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special
The Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special runs from July 6, 2026 at 12:01 AM EST to August 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST, unless terminated at an earlier date by Kindred (the "Promotion Period").

During the Promotion Period, an eligible Business Member who invests a minimum of $5,000.00 in an eligible 6-month non-redeemable Kindred Guaranteed Investment Certificate (the “GIC”) will receive the applicable promotional annual interest rate as posted by Kindred.

An additional 0.10% annual interest rate premium is available where the investment qualifies as New Money, as determined by Kindred in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

For the purposes of this offer, New Money means funds transferred from an external financial institution and does not include existing funds held with Kindred, Aviso Wealth Inc., or any of their respective affiliates. Eligibility for the New Money premium will be determined by Kindred in its sole discretion.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special, you must satisfy the following criteria (the “Eligibility Requirements”):

1. You must be a Kindred Business Member in good standing.

2. If you are a corporation, partnership, limited partnership, or limited liability partnership, you must be carrying on business in Ontario and all individuals who are partners or shareholders must be of the age of majority in Ontario.

Qualifying Criteria
To receive the applicable promotional interest rate, you must complete all of the following steps (the "Qualifying Criteria"):

Step 1: If you are not already a Kindred Business Member, you must become a Kindred Business Member during the Promotion Period.

Step 2: If you do not already have an eligible business account with Kindred, you must open one through a Kindred representative during the Promotion Period. Account opening must be completed in person at a Kindred branch unless otherwise permitted by Kindred and is subject to eligibility and qualification criteria as determined by Kindred at our sole discretion.

Step 3: During the Promotion Period, you must make one or more eligible investments (each, a "New Investment") in an eligible 6-month non-redeemable Kindred GIC with a minimum investment of $5,000.00.

An eligible New Investment will receive the applicable promotional annual interest rate.

To qualify for the additional 0.10% annual interest rate premium, the source of the funds for the New Investment must come from an external financial institution and must not include existing funds held with Kindred, Aviso Wealth Inc., or any of their respective affiliates.

Funds deposited with Kindred outside the Promotion Period do not qualify for the additional New Money premium, except where such funds result from a transfer from another financial institution that was initiated during the Promotion Period. Investments made before or after the Promotion Period do not qualify for the promotional offer.

Kindred is not obligated to open a membership for you. If Kindred, in its sole discretion, does not open a membership for you, then you will not be eligible for the Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special.

Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special Fulfillment
The applicable promotional annual interest rate will apply to an investment in an eligible 6-month non-redeemable Kindred GIC purchased during the Promotion Period.

Where the source of the funds has come from an external financial institution and does not include existing funds held with Kindred, Aviso Wealth Inc., or any of their respective affiliates, the additional New Money premium will also apply, subject to the Eligibility Requirements and Qualifying Criteria set out in these Terms and Conditions.

Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special Limits
The maximum allowable aggregate GIC investment by any Business Member and/or group of legal entities owned, controlled, or operated by the Business Member ("Connected Members") that will be eligible for the applicable promotional annual interest rate under the Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special shall not exceed $500,000.00.

The Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special is not transferrable or assignable. No substitutions will be permitted. This Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special may not be combined with other offers, unless expressly stated otherwise in such offers.

Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special – Privacy Notice
Kindred will collect personal information from you to administer the Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special and to determine your eligibility for the Kindred GIC New Deposits Rate. This may include the information you submit as part of the Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special, information required to open a membership (if you did not already have one), information required to open a new investment account (if you did not already have one), and information about your investment account and your investments.

By participating in the Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special, you consent to Kindred’s collection, use and disclosure of your personal information for the administration of the Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special and otherwise in accordance with Kindred’s Privacy Policy.

You also consent to Kindred using aggregated and anonymized information derived from your personal information to generate reports regarding the Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special and entrant demographics, which reports Kindred may disclose to third parties, provided that no identifying information is included in such reports.

Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special – General Terms and Conditions Kindred will not be liable to any participant or third party for any damage or loss arising from, connected with, or relating to the Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special, regardless of the cause or any fault by Kindred or any person for whom Kindred is responsible, and notwithstanding that any such party may have been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage.

The Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, all other provisions will remain in full force and effect.

These Terms and Conditions are governed solely by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, excluding any rules of private international law or the conflict of laws that would result in the application of any other laws.

Any dispute between you and Kindred arising from, connected with, or relating to the Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special, your participation in the Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special, the use or misuse of personal information provided in connection with the Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special, or any related matters (each, a “Dispute”) shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of the Province of Ontario, sitting in the City of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, and you irrevocably attorn to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts. Proceedings with respect to a Dispute must be commenced within one (1) year after the event giving rise to the Dispute, after which time any and all proceedings regarding the Dispute are barred.

To the fullest extent permissible by applicable law, by participating in the Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special, you agree to indemnify and hold Kindred harmless from and against any and all third-party claims arising out of or relating to your breach of these Terms and Conditions or your participation in the Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special.

Kindred is not obligated to pay any Kindred New Deposits GIC Rate to any participant if Kindred determines, in its sole discretion, that the participant or any third party connected directly or indirectly with the participant is abusing or attempting to abuse the Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special or is otherwise not acting in good faith in its dealings with Kindred.

Kindred may, in its sole discretion, withdraw, cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend all or any part of the Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special from time to time. Any such withdrawal, cancellation, termination, modification, or suspension will not affect a participant who has met the Eligibility Requirements and Qualifying Criteria prior to such action.

Kindred may also, in its sole discretion, change, supplement, or amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time by posting amended terms and conditions. Any such amendment will not affect a participant who has met the Eligibility Requirements and Qualifying Criteria prior to effective date of the amendment.

Any reference to funds or currency in these Terms and Conditions refers to Canadian dollars, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Kindred may, in its sole discretion, at any time limit the number or aggregate amount of the promotional GICs offered. All decisions of Kindred regarding the administration of the Kindred Business Member 6-Month GIC Special are final and binding.
