Extended Area Services

Kindred offers extended area services (EAS) to ensure that members can conveniently access services at Kindred beyond their home branches and after hours. Extended area services include:

Toll-Free Numbers and Postage-Paid Envelopes
We offer toll-free phone numbers and provide postage-paid envelopes to our distance members. Members can mail transfers and non-cash deposits to Kindred for processing.

Drop Box (Night Deposit)
Our Drop Box isn’t just for night owls! All of our branches have a Drop Box, much like a library book deposit. The Drop Box is available 24/7 and you can use it to deposit cash and cheques, as well as transfer slips, signed documents, and information for our Investment or Lending staff members. Simply place your deposit in an envelope and include a note with your name, member number, and the account you’d like your funds deposited into; ensure the envelope is sealed; and drop it in the depository.

In addition, when visiting one of our branches isn’t convenient, we provide drop boxes in rural communities where members can make non-cash deposits. For locations of these rural drop boxes, please contact us.

Transactions at Other Branch Offices
Kindred members can transact business at any of our eight branches.

On-Site Services
Kindred offers a weekly presence at seniors’ residences to help residents bank in the comfort of their own home environment.

Contact your local branch for more information on any of these Extended Area Services.
