    Church Builder GICs

    Our churches are important to us!

    That’s why Kindred supports churches and church-based organizations through Church Builder GICs. As an investor, you benefit from a secure investment at a competitive rate, and your community gains much-needed income at no cost to you.

     

    How does it work?

    It’s simple: you invest in a GIC that earns a competitive interest rate and, in return, Kindred donates bonus interest to the church or church-based organization of your choice. If you invest in Church Builder GICs as a church or church-based organization, you can designate your own organization to receive the bonus interest! Bonus interest donations are made by Kindred and are not treated as interest income for the investor. Recipients of bonus interest donations must be Ontario-based, have charitable registration status, and be a church or church-based organization.

    Church Builder GICs are available for a limited time each year. Once a year bonus interest cheques are mailed directly to the church or organization, making it an easy way to support your church community. Thanks to Church Builder GICs, Kindred has donated over $802,276 in bonus interest to churches and church-based organizations in Ontario.
