Service Fee Adjustments

A straight-forward approach

June 1, 2018 — Kindred reviews our service fees regularly to ensure they remain competitive in the marketplace.  Our philosophy is to charge a fair fee for the service you use, while covering our costs and acting as responsible stewards of the credit union. As a result of this recent review, we will be making some service fee adjustments effective July 1, 2018.

These adjustments reflect administrative time and associated costs. Overall, the fee adjustments are minor and, in many cases, are within your control. As part of our review, we also assessed our personal chequing plans. We are pleased to be able to offer our members on the Generations plan more free monthly transactions (from 15 to 25).

Please take a look at the following summary to see which fees are changing and if these adjustments will impact you.

In addition to providing advance notice online and in-branch, updated service fee brochures will be available in branches the first week of July.
